The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Yuvakshetra Institute of Management Studies (YIMS), established in 2019, plays an essential role in elevating the academic standards and overall quality of the institution. With a vision of fostering continuous improvement and ensuring excellence in education, the IQAC works diligently to create a sustainable and comprehensive framework for quality assurance across all aspects of the institution.
IQAC at YIMS is deeply committed to the development of both students and staff, organizing regular Faculty Development Programs (FDPS) and Quality Improvement Programs (QIPs). These initiatives aim to enhance teaching methodologies, subject knowledge, and professional skills, creating an enriched learning environment for all. Through these programs, YIMS ensures that its academic community remains at the forefront of current trends and best practices.
As part of its role, the IQAC rigorously conducts and evaluates all events and programs undertaken by the institution, ensuring that each one meets established quality benchmarks. Internal and external AAA audits are regularly carried out, validating the academic and administrative systems of the institution, and fostering a culture of continuous evaluation and improvement. A cornerstone of the IQAC's functioning is its strong and efficient feedback mechanism. The feedback from five key stakeholders-students, faculty, staff, alumni, and employers-is meticulously collected, analyzed, and acted upon, ensuring that the institution remains responsive to the needs and aspirations of its diverse community.
The IQAC also evaluates the college's curriculum, including certificate courses, to ensure that it is relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with the latest industry trends and educational standards. The cell plays an active role in ensuring that the curriculum is student-centric, adaptable, and designed to provide students with a comprehensive skill set for success in their future careers. In alignment with Outcome-Based Education (OBE), the curriculum is structured with clearly defined learning outcomes, ensuring that students not only acquire theoretical knowledge but also develop practical skills that can be directly applied in the professional world.
In its commitment to academic growth and professional development, IQAC organizes and supports numerous workshops, seminars, and conferences, offering platforms for faculty, students, and external experts to engage in meaningful academic exchanges.
