Meet the Mentor, New Website Launch & Magazine Release

Yuvakshetra Institute of Management Studies (YIMS), Ezhakkad, successfully conducted the “Meet the Mentor & Magazine Release” programme on 8 September 2026 at 11:30 AM at CH Square. The programme brought together students, faculty members and distinguished guests for an inspiring and engaging session focused on learning, leadership and student development. The programme commenced with a prayer, followed by a warm welcome address by Ms. Reshma U, Head – B.Com Taxation Section. Dr. Tomy Antony, Principal, delivered the Presidential Address, while Rev. Dr. Mathew George Vazhayi, Director, delivered the Keynote Address. The highlight of the event was the Inaugural Address and interactive session by Shri. Ramesh Pisharody, Hon’ble MLA, Palakkad. His engaging interaction with the students provided valuable insights, motivation and encouragement, making the session both informative and memorable. The programme also featured a briefing on the institution’s magazine by Rev. Dr. Lino Stephen Emmatty, Asst. Director & Magazine Advisor, followed by the official release of the magazine. Another significant milestone of the event was the launch of the new YIMS website, marking an important step towards strengthening the institution’s digital presence. The event also included a felicitation by Rev. Dr. Joseph Olikkal Koonal, Vice Principal, followed by the Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Janvi K, Magazine Student Editor. The programme concluded with the National Anthem, led by Mr. Aswin Krishna, III BA English. The Meet the Mentor programme was a meaningful and enriching experience that provided students with an opportunity to interact with an accomplished personality, gain fresh perspectives and celebrate the creative and academic achievements of the institution. The successful launch of the magazine and new website further added significance to the occasion, making it a memorable milestone in the journey of YIMS.
